Follow up on the ‘As seen around me’ project. Walls are everywhere. In this post a collection of walls in some form i saw in my neighbourhood. All shot with the Olympus E-P1 with the Lumix 14/2.5 asph. attached. Used a preset in the E-P1 for black and white conversion. Only post processing in PS consists of PT-lens actions for straightening etc. and off course border maker for the border. 1200px on the long side for blog.

Leaves, colorfull and ready to become obsolete are great subjects for photography. Every year i look for them again. I love the colors that appear in autumn a lot! All shot with the 50 1.4 on my D90. LR 5.2 was used to develop the raw files.

Two different cars, two different photo’s, one location. These are taken near my home at the supermarket parking places. At night almost empty and good for photography. Still want to catch that Mercedes in that light during some rain. Shot with the Oly E-P1 and 14mm.

Found this bottle this morning. The rain finally stopped and our dog needed his walk. Heineken is far from my favourite beer, but hey for some photo’s who cares. Shot with the E-P1 and 14mm 2.5. Used my in camera preset so what you see is OOF camera jpeg, just added the border. Taking the E-P1 along when going out of the house is starting to becom a habit, with the pancake easy.
Currently i am inspired by the use of the E-P1 and the 14mm 2.5, i share photo’s of stuff i see walking around. Almost all made with the b&w preset and OOC jpeg’s. On Flickr and FB i tag this ”As seen around me”. I think i will post on this blog with this theme in series, dunno how it will work out but seems on fb and flickr people like some of the shared shots. I think a blog is good for sharing series better than fb and flickr. So hang on and visit me more often(hahah, ah well).

On oktober the 10th i had to go to work in Beekbergen. At seven in the morning while walking the dog i saw the sky getting blue. Back home i decided to grap my E-P1 with the 14mm attached and drive to work a different route. I was just in time to see the sun coming over the trees on the horizon. Here 5 shots from that moment, precious are those moments. On the 7th i drove the same route at midday and took some shots with the E-P1an an in camera b&w preset i made. Maybe next blogpost.
I really love th Olympus for these momenst, easy to take with you and image quality s very fine at low iso. These shots are processed in LR5.2 to my liking.

Filled a roll of Kodak Tmax 400 asa, expired 5-2013, so almost fresh. Used my Nikon F100 and my 50mm 1.4g and Series E 100mm 1:2.8. Scanned using my LS-40 and little bit of tweaking in CS6 on levels. I don’t use the 100mm a lot, but i should, great lens on film and digital. No fancy shots here, just some random stuff around me.
I was talking on FB with a friend about analogue shooting and the positives and drawbacks about this hobby next to digital shooting. During this talk i realized that i really like b&w analogue photography, even if it’s snapshots. Decisions…..
